industry. We have been wood carving duck and
goose decoys in the
Adirondacks since 1987. Jeff Duxbury, an
avid conservationist, has a deep rooted love
of the outdoors. Raised in upstate New York,
he developed a reverence for nature through
hunting, fishing and hiking in the vast
Adirondack Park. Jeff went on to develop his
technical knowledge of Biology and the Arts
in college where he continued to discover
his interest in duck
decoys. Jeff's first decoys were carved
for family and friends. After eight years of
developing his craft, Jeff opened
Dux' Dekes decoy
company in 1987.
Jeff's
goose decoys
and wood duck decoys have been sold throughout North
America and internationally. Dux' Dekes
brings high quality
wooden decoys of many varieties to the
market. It takes time to prepare each decoy
with precise detail and accuracy.
